Twenty-two members and their guests enjoyed convivial company and an excellent dinner at Christmas Commons in the Dining Hall on Thursday 8 December. The Common Room held their annual Christmas Carol charity evening and we were kindly invited to come along after Commons and join in with the festivities with a glass or two of wine. The Trinitytones, who are Trinity College’s all male capella group which was set up in 2012 by two students of Trinity’s music department, provided the musical entertainment. They were featured in the recent RTE TV programme ‘Inside Trinity’. It was a lovely culmination of a very enjoyable evening.
