Faithlegg House Hotel is located in an eighteenth century restored mansion in County Waterford and was the destination for a two-day midweek break for eighteen TRA members and their guests on 8th-10th March.
The weather was sunny but a little chilly and was ideal for a few brisk walks around the extensive grounds and surrounding area. The food was excellent as was the banter around the dinner table on both evenings. The Hotel also offered very good leisure facilities and many of us enjoyed the swimming pool and other facilities.
On the second day, we travelled in convoy into Waterford and enjoyed guided tours of the Medieval Museum and the Bishop’s Palace. Some of us even managed to climb Reginald’s Tower.
A most enjoyable midweek break! Some photos can be viewed in the Gallery
