A full house including twenty one TRA members attended the matinee of Bernard Shaw’s comedy ‘You Never Can Tell’ on Saturday 30th January.
After 18 years in Madeira Mrs Clarendon returns to England with her unruly twins and forthright daughter. Their new life in a seaside hotel becomes increasingly complicated by her estranged husband and a love struck dentist Can a mysterious waiter help them all to live happily ever after?
Some of us thought that the play was a bit slow in the first hour but it was very enjoyable after the intermission. A fine cast including Paul Reid as the dentist, who starred in RTE’ s drama ‘Rebellion’.
