The Association has booked a guided tour of the Irish Architectural Archive, 45 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, for Wednesday 16th November 2016 at 11am. The group will meet in the Davenport Hotel, Merrion Street, at 10.15 am and proceed to the Archive at 10.45 am. The event is open to members only.
The Irish Architectural Archive was established in 1976 to collect and preserve material of every kind relating to the architecture of the entire island of Ireland, and make it available to the public. As a cumulative body of material the holdings of the Archive represent the greatest single source of information on Ireland’s buildings and those who designed them. The Archive is located at 45 Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
