The Association has arranged a guided walk of Georgian Dublin for Wednesday 13th January, starting at 11am. We will meet from 10.30am in the café in the Chester Beatty Library.
The walk will be led by Lorcan O’Meara, an experienced walk leader who also led a walking tour of Medieval Dublin for the Association last summer.
The route of the walk will include the Upper Yard Dublin Castle, City Hall, Parliament Street, Temple Bar, Dame Street, Bank of Ireland, Trinity College, Nassau Street, Dawson Street, Kildare Street, St Stephen’s Green, and Merrion Square. This tour is free and is restricted to members only.
Places for this tour are limited to 25 and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. You can book on line below or email info@tcdretired.ie.
Please note that if you participate in this walk, you must take full responsibility for yourself and be aware that you participate at your own risk. Participants will be asked to complete a Disclaimer form (unless you have already completed one) before setting out on the walk. It is important that you have sturdy footwear and that you are prepared for rain.
