Dear Members,
The Trinity Retirement Association has organised a visit to the Newbridge House and Farm, Donabate in North Dublin. This is scheduled to take place on Thursday June 24th at 11.00am.
We will meet at the Café, located near the house, at 10.30 and start the guided house tour at 11. There are no lifts in the house. This event is strictly for TRA members only – no guests. Face coverings must be worn during the house tour. Attendees should familiarise themselves with current Covid 19 restrictions.
The numbers are limited to 10 so it is on a first come first served basis.
The café is takeout only, tables and chairs will be provided outdoors. The café also serves lunch. Hopefully we will have fine weather..
The Farm and gardens may be toured following the house tour. The farm tour is not guided.
How to get there:
Newbridge House is located a 30 minute drive from Dublin city centre. There is public transport too and regularly served by trains and buses from the city.
By car: Follow the signs from the M1 Dublin-Belfast motorway and take the R126 at exit 4. The House is located just five minutes off the motorway and there’s plenty of free parking on-site.
By train: Take the Dundalk/Drogheda train from the city centre (including from Connolly, Tara Street and Pearse Street train stations) and get off at Donabate. We’re a short walking distance (approx. 15 minutes) from Donabate village and train station.
By bus: Take one of the regular buses from Dublin city centre to Swords (numbers 33, 41 (b)(c) and 43) and then catch the number 33b Go Ahead bus from Swords to Donabate. The bus stop is located at the main park entrance.
