Dr Matthew Jebb, the Director of the National Botanic Gardens, will lead members of the Association on a guided tour of the world famous curvilinear houses, in the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin. The refurbishment of the Turner Curvilinear Range of glasshouses was completed for the bicentenary of the Gardens in 1995.
We will meet in the foyer area of the Visitor Centre in the Gardens. The Visitor Centre has a restaurant and display area with exhibits relating to the history and purpose of the gardens.
Car parking is available in the grounds. If you are travelling by bus there are three bus routes – numbers 4, 9, and 83.
Booking is essential as numbers are limited to 25. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
