Dear Members,

The March coffee morning is scheduled for Wednesday March 25th. We will meet in the Global Room, Watts Building TCD, from 10.30. The guest speaker is Dr Christopher Moriarty. Dr Moriarty is a marine biologist and fisheries expert. With a farming background in West Kerry and graduate of Trinity College Dublin, he has worked extensively on the rivers and lakes of Ireland. Christopher is the author of many Irish nature books, and his most recent publication is on the history and natural history of The River Liffey. (The Collins Press 2018.)  When not writing he works as an archivist in the Quaker Historical Library in Dublin.

The title of Dr Moriarty’s talk for the Coffee Morning will be The Liffeyside and Dublin.
