Birdwatching in Howth

June 15, 2017 @ 11:00 - 13:00

You are invited to join other members of the Retirement Association on a ‘Bird Watch ‘ walk on Thursday June 15th in Howth at 11am.   The Walk will be led by Aidan Kelly from the Physiology Department in College.   Aidan led a very successful walk at Booterstown last Autumn.   He has very kindly offered to take us to see the sea-birds on the Cliffs at Howth this time.
We will meet in Insomnia Cafe for coffee from 10.15 am and proceed from there to the start of the walk at approximately 10.50 am.   If you wish to use public transport, both the DART and the 31A bus go to Howth — bus leaves from Abbey Street.

NB : Places on this walk will be reserved for members only and limited to 20 people and on a first come, first served, basis.

It is important that you wear sturdy footwear and have appropriate outer wear particularly in wet weather.   Aidan will have a telescope for enhanced viewing but if you have binoculars you might like to bring them.
Please note that if you participate in this walk you must take full responsibility for yourself and be aware that you participate at your own risk.   Participants will be asked to complete a Disclaimer Form (unless you have already completed one) before setting out on the walk.

You can book on the website below OR  email: info@tcdretired.ie
