National Concert Hall – Life and Music of Edith Piaf – 22nd April 2016

The John Field Room in the National Concert Hall was almost full to capacity for the lunchtime concert ‘Pigalle – Life and Music of Edith Piaf’.

Chanteuse Derby Browne performed her personal tribute to The Little Sparrow – Edith Piaf – with performances of La Vie en Rose, No Regrets, and Autumn Leaves, accompanied by David Wray on Piano and French Ensemble.

Sixteen members of the Association and their guests had booked tickets for the concert.   As the seating in the John Field room was unreserved, it was not possible for our group to sit together but there was some opportunity to meet and chat to others before the concert.
